First off. Using Lightning main's Root passive gives all sword ninjas first 2 round of CC immunity. But apparently, spells can still be interrupted within the 2 rounds.

Versus a sage naruto team with Ao. Sage naruto in the first action slot, meaning he will attack first. (Since my lightning main is in 2nd action slot)

In the same round (round 2) naruto will use his rasen shuirken. And my lightning main using his mystery.
But naruto goes first, gets Ao's chase and interrupts lightning main. And lightning main wont be able to attack.

Is there a way around this? If I don't prompt the lighting main's mystery (and use it AFTER naruto has finished launching rasen shuriken along with his team's combos). Will it avoid being sealed that way?

// Thanx

Use your Main after his Sage. Since you have ROW, your main's mystery can be activated after instead of getting Acupunctured if you cast if before.

Alright, thanx for the clarification. :)
I will just activate it after him finishing his mystery then and it should be no problems. Really wasn't sure how the interrupt really works.

There is no protection from interuption unless the ninja is under effect of Killer Bee's Yo!. There are however a few ninja's that can't be interupted

What about JeremyKohBS's statement then? To activate mystery after the chase that causes interrupt.

Thats not really a protection since there is nothing to interupt. It's a clever use of game mechanics

And game mechanic you can make use of especially in situation where your initiative loses out to the opponent is to decide when to cast your mystery.

For example, his move 1 is Sage Naruto, and you will lose to his Sage Naruto in terms of initiative in Round 2. What you can do is Acupuncture him in Round 1 after he has made his normal standard attack move. I normally do it after his standard attack cause I don't understand sometimes how the debuff is cleared at the end of each round. But acupuncturing him after his standard in Round 1, I know he's mystery is locked in Round 2.

Then in Round 2, he can't cast his mystery, I'll let him make his standard move again, THEN I'll mystery him with my own Sage Naruto which has a chase with Mei & Fire Main to immobile & blind him after his standard in Round 2 lasting into Round 3, locking his Mystery again.

Not sure if my scenario explained was clear, but remember to play smart. There's power play, there's smart play, and ideally power and smart play will be optimal, but if you're f2p, you often have to rely on smart play to win p2w players (well, at least against those p2w who aren't very into smart play).

I still dont feel im very familiar with some of the games's mechanics.
Played for about 2 months now and mostly used wind main. Due to not having enough rare ninjas to deal with that CC lock team (sage naruto, fire main, ao) I was recommended to change to lightning because it was the only option not grtting perma cc right off the bat. To actually have a chance to fight back.

Its alright. It took me awhile before I started understanding the mechanics more. But once you do, you'll be glad you took the time to understand it, cause it makes the game slightly more fun since timing is key, and not just boringly spamming the Q, W, E, R keys.

I find it most fun when I win by preventing them from casting any mysteries. Sadistic... but fun. Its also satisfying when its a higher power player.
