for me arena points reset even tho i only reached jonin did i miss understand the rules?
i have reached 6 paths 1 time
i reached only jonin this season
is it a bug or did i not get the rules right?

You didn't get the rules right, it will reset every season regardless of what rank you are if you have reached sannin ONCE.
Look on the bright side, OASIS didn't get it right neither on their first try...
