DISCLAIMER: This is my personal opinion, not fact on how Oasis does their events / Summons or anything.

Consumption Wheel:

Is it rigged? A lot of people ask, i wouldn't say rigged, but i would say it favours lesser rewards and some rewards over other better rewards.

Think of each box in the wheel as a %, that indicates the chance of landing on it, where the good rewards have a lot lower % to land and the bad and mediums have a higher % so you often land on it, I suspect there is some form of system like that in the game, if you try and do 100 spins you will land mostly on bad / medium, and then maybe a few times on good, true rng would doubtfully behave like this.

I did around 25 spins yesterday.
From my memory i got 1 "top" reward (Naruto NineTail 1 Fragment), 10+ Bad rewards and the rest was meeh and medium.

It's the same with the wheel in Group, i've gotten more Ramen then anything on that wheel, considering how many options there is, it's fishy to get one so heavily over others.

But, i knew it was like this, i knew the consumption event was like it when i did it also, cause it's a gamble, and gambling is never fair, the only problem i have, the only big issue i have, is that i'm honestly offended by the bad rewards Oasis put into the wheel.

30.000 Coins, level 2 Magatamas, 10 Stamina, are all bad, really really bad rewards, they are almost worthless unless you get a lot of them, and they still added them to the wheel and that's not ok in my book, it's a fun game, and some of the events are fair, but i'll say this, the rewards you had this week with the wheel gave me a sour taste on spending money as it was not only unfair to people that pay, but it was unfair to the people that got their few precious free rolls wasted on crap like lvl 2 magatamas or some coins.

P2Player's need F2Player's, F2Player's need P2Player's, none will have fun widout the others, if you make an event unfair and disheartening for P2Player's you will get less of them, and if you don't have any events that incentivice F2Player's to play and spread the word and grow the community, then you will get less of them, and suddently, you will become another one in a long line of greedy companies that's killed a good game blind from their own greed.

I'll continue playing as i do love this game, and just for info, the person that got me into the game was a F2Player, you need both to have a great game and you need to have fair events and be more transparent on the chance of getting rewards.

My parting word will be this to you Oasis, you got a great opportunity with this game, its Naruto, a strong strong name with a large viewer base and fan base where many of them are gamers, both paying and non-paying, don't throw this away, put yourself into the players shoe when you design events, talk with the free2player's and see their point of view, i'm not telling you to give away a ton of stuff 24/7, i'm asking you to be fair and honest about it.

Agreed on this.

On an off-topic point, what you said about F2Ps is exactly why I didn't want to raise the level cap: widening the gap -> less satisfied F2Ps -> F2Ps tell their friends that the game's not worth it because nobody even has a ghost of a chance to catch up.

I don't want to divert from the topic more than that so I'll stop there. But yeah, what you said makes sense to me. Consumption wheel was pretty bad, especially the fact that you'd spend ingots and get bad rewards.

gambling is supposed to be fair, all the odds are supposed to be calculable. if u go to a casino and play blackjack and they removed the aces from a fresh deck that's illegal here in the us. doing anything that alters the odds of the gamble to the houses favor away from the base chances is illegal.

if they use a magnet on a roulette wheel with a ball that has metal in it that would also be illegal, and that's basically what they r doing with these wheels, they r altering the base odds to land on each entry in the wheel.

so if u want to compare this to gambling then oasis should be shut down because a casino doing this WOULD be shut down.
