Really though, whats the point in ranked arena when everyone just spams tenten mabui and water main. Tenten is beyond broken in arena. Half health gone in the first round AND all the debuffs on top of that? This is nonsense

Here's a suggestion: find a team that counters it. Once you figure that out, you can just easily mow through anyone with that type of team.

Maybe use Kisame or some other chakra-*er?

tried it. Kisame cant use mystery until round 2 and by then its already over. Ive tried countless ways to counter the team but I haven't been able to yet. Its just beyond broken and once you get to the anbu ranks thats all anyone uses :/

hm...

Could you use Torune?
Could you have a character that accupunctures GNW Tenten turn 1?
What about a character that immobiles/chaos/whatever Mabui on turn 1?

Just throwing some ideas out there, that's al... haven't tried or tested any yet. Hope this is helpful in some way.

Kisame , if he comboes ( that he does pretty much in arena ) , he *s 20 mana from standard.. enough to prevent 1010 from triggering mystery in round 1. As for round 2 , you * everything !!

problem with that is the water main or mabui will clear up any debuffs ya put on em. If you focus one particular ninja on that team then the other ones either heal em or damage you anyways

None of them actually work. You cannot stop mabui tenten round 1 using a viable team without having higher initiative. Using more obscure ninjas like Neji for round 1 acupuncture will result in automatic losses against root lightning and wind teams.

At higher ranks, there are generally 3 types of teams. Root Lightning that hard counter mabui 1010, mabui 1010 that hard counter wind, and wind that hard counter root lightning. Unless you have special ninjas such as 4/6tail nar or susanoo bros, running a team that is not one of those 3 types will typically result in more losses than wins.

Realistically, for players who are climbing to 6 paths the first time, they will have lower initiative in just about every match out there. Which basically means if you want to deal with mabui 1010, you switch to a root lightning team, and hope you don't run into wind. Mabui 1010 is very common because it is easily accessible and has one of the best chances of beating ppl despite not having initiative advantage.

The ranked arena system is god awful for new players.. but that is another can of worms.

You can stop tenten teams by immobilizing mabui in first round. Only mabui. It is true water team will heal a debuff in the same rpund it is casted, but mabui is move 1. If she is inactive for a blink of an eye, she will miss her turn.
You do have to kill her before round 2 though. And finish the fight before round 3. Or you could use Cee to remove buffs from enemy team. Without them tenten isn't all that scary.
