It's not about 9 tails exactly, thou your team does contain elements that makes it good against the 32k

32k requires multiple interrupt, because the archers hit like a truck (and if you let their skills get you low enough, their standard attack will wipe your team with its bloodlust)
To this end, iruka, guy both have interrupt, mei have acupuncture and chase immobile and fire main have cc as well(thou I doubt you are using cc in the nine tail team)

Secondly, ignition is good in 32k, because they also heals, and the thing is, their heal does not cleanse, which means if thye are burning, the heal becomes completely useless. While you could also interrupt their heals, the fact is that they have so many mystery being cast every round, you probably need your limited interrupt against the damage instead of the heal, so ignition will be used to cover the heal front instead.
Mei and fire main can provide ignition.

As such, the team compo you described is one that could potentially work very well against 32k.
Whereas it is perfectly possible that your main team is horrible against 32k due to its opponent.
Chances are, you can probably come up with a specialized team that's even better against the TI than your nine tail team.

Personally, I'm farming 43.2k. Despite being already close to 50k, I still can't use my main team in it, because it'd get slaughtered(due to a variety of reasons). That said, I'm not using fox team against it either, as my fox team have no cc whatsoever. My girl team(wind main), on the other hand, works well against it, with some positional adjustment to avoid sweep damage.
