You should always spend your ingot based on the rebate amount: Monthly Card (600%), Daily Spin (~220%), Jonin Medal (200%), Weekly event that can range from 200% (spend 50k get hokage tsunade) to 150% (spend 40k get minato kage). Also always try to recharge in week that has recharge rebate like this week
Event that offers stuff at a great discount: Daily Discount (maximum ~50%), Treasure of the Sage (~30%), most event has at least a 20% discount
Never spend on event that offers no discount like this week one-ingot sales
Also if you're able to, try to recharge at least once everyday since it gives you 1 extra daily spin
