^This. I believe mods have repeatedly said that people with alts would have action taken on them when they are reported to the mods. However, I believe that many people (including people in this thread) are guilty of owning alt accounts to plunder and get coupons.

With so many prominent members (people who play the game regularly) of this game owning alternate accounts, I doubt real actions would be taken and for the rule to be reinforced. Personally I do see it as unfair too; if you can't spend 3 hours waiting for plunders, go convoy for goodness sake. The daily 150 coupons added up would give such a massive power boost - not that it is a bad thing, but it is forced and repetitive and really *s the fun out of the whole event in the first place.

Even if you don't plunder the weaker members of the server, someone else is bound to. Even if no one eventually plunders them, what is their 30 coupons compared to the 150 you get for virtually free? It just seems like an exploit to the whole system that shouldn't have or meant to have existed.
