Hey guys, just wanted to get your opinions on how long it will take to save 1000 seal scrolls. I'm P2P (don't like the term P2W :D ) and I just spend maybe $20-$50 dollars in the game monthly. But I don't usually buy seal scrolls unless there's a really good deal. I'm asking because I am interested in one super rare ninja in the future.

About 8-9 months if you don't buy seal scrolls when not a good deal.

8-9 months seems reasonable enough. I think the hardest part for me is being tempted not to use my seal scrolls. :P

Depends on how you spend the ingots. There are quite a few good ways to convert ingots into coupons.
1) Jonin medal
2) monthly pack ($6 per month)
3) Lucky wheel. See if you can add $1 everyday instead of a $50 one time. That way you can spin the wheel twice each day ($6/$12 per month)
4) You c*so plunder to get coupons. It its not suitable, then you can do extra SS convoys by spending ingots.

Save these for good deals such as land of lightning treasure, treasure of the sage and such. Saving seal scrolls also depends on how good you are in-game. If you can win matsuri everyweek, get rank on sage battle often - seals usually pile up quite fast.

Combining these, and you may reach the goal sooner than you think.

Thanks for the tip. I did not know about that item no. 3 though, will definitely try that one.

Also I'm not really in a hurry for the 1000 seal scrolls because the treasure I'm waiting for might not come out this year. I just kinda want to estimate if I can save 1000 seal scroll and have enough to go for Roshi in a period of 1 year.

8-9 months is somewhat optimistic, it's doable but you would have to be dedicating virtually all your coupons to gaining seals, which will inevitably put you behind in power gains. I'm going to throw some reasonable numbers at you.

Wishing tree: 17 coupons. Daily wheel spin (x2 for recharging every day): 20 minimum. Monthly Card: 50 coupons. Succeeding in 1/3 plunders each day: 50 coupons. This totals up to 157 minimum could could rely on getting each day. Some days you will get 30 or 50 coupons from your wheel, or 150 coupons from plunder. Some day you may get coupons from your group wheel or other sources, but at minimum you should expect to get about 157 a day, just shy of 5000 coupons a month. Again, you will LIKELY get more, this is just a minimum expectation.

The math here shows a problem. 5k coupons over 9 months equals 45000, assuming you save each coupon. If you get every scroll you buy at a discount of 100 coupons (and you wont, often the discount is around 112 or 110, but I will assume a best case scenario here) that is 450 scrolls over the course of 9 months. You are way short.

However, there are many other ways to get those seals. Two are available from the monthly login, along with two each week in the weekly mission shop. If you are dedicated to GNW you should expect a good 20 seals each month there - or more (your mileage may vary depending on your server with that one). normally one is open each week from the chase missions, plus a handful here and there from other weekly events that pop up. There are other weekly events that can grant the seals or fragments like matsuri, but I won't include those since they really depend on your performance. With a bit of luck you could expect a good 30-40 scrolls each month with diligence in events. Over nine months of saving? That's around 270-360 scrolls, for a total of 720 - 810 scrolls through all events and coupons during the course of nine months.

If it's a current treasure (Kage) you will end up with 135 free pulls during that time as well, which should be plenty to get you over the top. Getting better discounts on the scrolls will also help increase your gains.

Overall you can expect about 80-90 scrolls monthly if you are spending around 50 dollars a month. The problem with that is that you are focusing all your rewards towards stocking up on seal scrolls. Even with that sweet super rare ninja, a player who pumped their money into power could still smack you around.

Thanks for the detailed breakdown.

Not worried too much about power as I am No. 12 in power ranking in our server. I also have some solid line-ups that I c*e with my ninjas. My only concern will be if new treasures that will come out will make my line-ups non-competitive.

So okay I have decided and will embark on this challenge. Wish me luck. I just wish there was some way to lock my seal scrolls away so I don't use them impulsively. ;P

Roshi should only be around 210 btw.

I've saved 310 in about 4 months. I could have had about 350. But I don't buy seals at all, the only times I get them are from SWB, Chase missions, Monthly check in, Matsuri, survival trial, Great Ninja War packs and if they happen to be a bonus for other events that I do. Of course you c*so get them from Sealed Ninja, probably the same odds of getting them from Survival trial. If you do everything you can daily then you should be able to save up a decent amount.

It is hard to save at first because you are addicted to doing those 10 draws every time you can but after a few weeks you won't even have an impulse to do draws. Its like quitting smoking. Sometimes it will get hard seeing your friends and often times rivals getting some really cool and powerful ninja, just keep telling yourself that in the end the ninja you are after will make the current teams essentially worthless.

Actually what I want is Kurama link Naruto. ;P (Madara's not bad either)

I know it will not be for a long time but I want to be ready when it comes. :loveliness:

If you are fully dedicated to saving seals and also dedicated to logging in daily and doing what you can, then I believe you will have what you need by then. I was doing some thinking the other day, 400 seals is basically the same thing as $1000. We are fortunate to be able to get as many as we have been able to get for free.

If you don't reach your goal in a years time, I think you will be close enough to feel comfortable just shelling out w/e is left. I said I got about 350 in 4 months but it could have been longer. I know for a fact in a years time you should be able to get at least 700. Of course there is a chance you could get even higher. It all depends on what you do, and well obviously how your group does in GNW and also how you do in SWB and Matsuri. The advantage to saving seals is you can spend towards power in the mean time, so hopefully you can get the seals you need from those events.

Just never forget your goal.

When I saw the title, immediate thought to my head "Gotta be either Kurama Naruto or Madara". ;P

My plan was a Roshi, then all seals saved for either of them as well.
