Matchmaking is also *! 80% of the time I am queue'd against someone with higher initiative and isn't balanced. It should be matching you with power (current team outside of arena or overall bp) and not rank. Your rank in arena should have zero influence on who you queue against because it's just a rank and has no effect on how powerful you are. I am gonna try arena again today. This also isn't true I have been at rank 33 for 3-4 days now and majority of the time I am getting people with higher initiative. If it goes by power and level you will get paired with people more fairly then it is now. At the moment it is broken. This is why rank points is flawed. First off starting at the beginning of the month people who are below 30k bp will be placed against people with much higher bp then them because there are both have 1 rank point (12 if they hit six paths) and they will start getting negative points. Which is seeming impossible to get back to positive (speak from experience).
Second reason, as you may know a lot of people quit arena even if getting paired with rank points was more fair. What if no one is in your bracket what happens then? You get paired with someone who is either higher or lower rank points then your self.
Can't think of a third reason at the moment, but the main issue is most people are versing people with higher initiative then themselves running op lineups like (KK Gaara, Sage, Jigo, WB) (Mabui, GNW Tenten, Mei, AF) (Cursed Hidan, MB, Mifune, Darui) ect... I know every lineup can't be countered but if they are running these teams and have higher initiative they will 90% of the time win because you can control them or out damage them if you don't have the initiative.
