I lose alot too, so for now, I'm just holding out at 38 points Kage, so next reset I'll be at Super Kage due to the 8 Arena points reward of Kage.
I refuse to touch Ranked Arena anymore (I will touch it just to get some negative points so I don't get promoted to 6 Paths ever, and give some lucky players some free wins). So 1 Kage reward, then from then all its all Super Kage. Training battle ftw now. Lol!
Exactly what i try to test and no - my rank was reset. I'm genin now.
Is this how it's supposed to be or ? Because i've understood the same logic as you did from all their announcements. -

If you noticed, they edited their initial rules at 11.59pm. 1 Minute before midnight. Now it seems all ranks get reset unless you've never reached 6 paths before.
Sooooooo... basically this was a royal screw up and in our face type of situation. Cause its not a literal, I'm gonna just retype and delete that paragraph and change everything. So yeah... :curse: -

Honestly this was said before. It was done confusing, however i kept trying to post over and over that if you already got six paths, then next season every season will reset your ranks. So truthfully they edited rules to make it less confusing but it was like that already.

Im atm annoyed already at the fact that it seems like putting money in to become powerful has no purpose in arena. Since i got matched with people with insanely high power/rarity summons etc. on servers 4 months before mine.
Still alot of you were trying to game the system because of all the errors in the beginning.
"Stay at super kage, and get those rewards and never have to climb higher" Obviously this sounds sneaky, and it was mentioned that because of it being added later everyone has to get six paths once. For konohamaru etc.
After that, every month you climb, you get whatever it is, you reset. You know what games also do this? EVERY SINGLE OTHER FUXEN GAME...seriously cmon now -

when the ones in sorta charge give us certain rules and then change them last minute the playerbase has a right to go crazy mad imo.
and no it wasnt like u said... they rlly ment ranks wudnt reset it was stated clearly in the highlight topic before it was changed last minute.
so going off on that information players stayed at kage..... -

I'm sorry, but how did you interpret that underlined sentence as it will be reset every season regardless? I would like to take your side, but you've got to enlighten me on this aspect.
I don't know how "Your rank will not reset" can be interpreted any other way else, and it also states "you will keep winning the rewards for the rank in which you were". -

To me it seems that they (Devs) really don't know what the arena mechanics are in the first place. I'm assuming what their technical team only does are mere "translation work", and a shoddy one at that. They have to wait for the actual thing to happen and input from the players before saying "Okay guys, apparently this is how it goes..."
When Seasonal Arena was implemented weeks ago they had no clue about the "rules" (must be 6path once to claim current rank rewards, server must be 60 days to claim rewards), only when players raised hell about it that they posted those rules.
And now, yeah, they made that change to the rules AFTER HK servers had reset for March, when they saw what would actually happen. Yep, they are just hiding it. From the start they have no idea at all. -

Either it's implemented on the game already or they changed it themselves to be like that, idk, all i know is this, either they noticed people would just sit in their rank forever and try to aim the higher they could, or it's been like that from the original state of arena seasons, which they misinterpret due to translation. In any ways sounds they screwed up(not surprised). -

Do you know of any changes that are being made to arena or if there are any? The reasons have been posted many times. Just wondering if there are any changes or will it stay the way it is? I understand if you aren't allowed to talk about it.
Edit: I am currently in a 22 minute queue in arena on S67 (we have cross server) and I still haven't found a partner. Do you have any idea why? It was working fine less then an hour ago.
Nvm queue popped and versed someone with 27.3k bp lightning main....

It's kinda lame that you need to reach Six Path Sennin once before getting rewards better than pre-school.
You have any idea how difficult it is for a servers in the 300 range to actually win a battle in ranked?
I got a suggestion for you: A player can only be matched up against another player within the vicinity of 50 servers.
Example1: Player from S250 can be matched against someone between S200-300
Example2: Player from S48 can only be matched agains players from S1-S98

Guys, I understand why the rules have to be changed. But, like I said before, a little heads-up on the upcoming changes would have been nice. Oh well, I'm fine with 7 rare + 1 super rare frags once a month. It just means that my chances of 4-star-ing those super rares are super low, that's all ^^. -
