Either it's implemented on the game already or they changed it themselves to be like that, idk, all i know is this, either they noticed people would just sit in their rank forever and try to aim the higher they could, or it's been like that from the original state of arena seasons, which they misinterpret due to translation. In any ways sounds they screwed up(not surprised).
