Right now, we're having some issues with Arena matchmaking, we're looking to fix it as soon as possible.

I believe the trial dates a full month, which should lap with seasonal rewards. However, due to recent events with Arena being released and the delayed rewards, things are a bit hairy.
Things should be back to normal next month.

It's still in the talks.

Yes, there will be compensation for the servers affected.
