If you have money to spend (I mean a lot of money) and like a competitive server, don't mind losing then choose either s1, s17 or s26 because these servers are the 1st server of each region.
If you don't have money, you don't like to lose, you want to beat people then choose the newest server or just stalk the news section for new servers release.

I would play on a new server to take advantage of all the opening events. Just be prepared for it to be really competitive at the start since there are always a handful of people going to new servers in hopes of being a top player there

U are a new so obviously you must go to a new server i disagree with Kouka u cant be that good even if u spend a lot just because u spend doesnt mean u know how to play play on a new server see if u can compete if u can start a new server and so on u dont really need to * with 1 server since u are just getting started

Then see the players in the server drop since they can't keep up in the first 7 days :D

Hello! I would recommend you to start in a new server with the server region being closest to your timezone to make sure that you can participate in timed event. By joining a new server, you can make full use of the server opening events and you start your progress together with everyone else.
