Hi,
When I tried to log in, after the loading screen stopped at 14%, an error window appeared: "Connection failed. Please contact customer service for assistance".

I tried with both browser and the client using a stable connection. How can I fix this ?

Hey

Clear out your cookies/cache and refresh the game. Currently, the servers are up and running. Might be a connection issue with your ISP.

If it doesn't fix the issue. I'll suggest using a VPN to access the game.

Same problem here.

The funny thing is, my laptop DOES connect to my account, and they are on same Wi-Fi... Anyone can explain what's going on with the * I use for a desktop computer?

That's odd.
Could be compatibility issues.

Right click Naruto-online application > Properties > Compatibility > Run this program in compatibility mode for > XP Service Pack 3 (Windows 7 could work as well)

See if that helps.
