Hello everyone ^^
Not everyone who plays Naruto are willing to spend money on it, so I have came up with this basic guide for the new players on how to spend their limited coupons as they begin their adventures in Naruto. For anyone that found errors within this guide please let me know! >_<
Disclaimer: This guide is mostly targeted at new players to give a grasp on what is worth their coupons, and do not have to be strictly followed.
i. How do I get coupons? / What are they?
- Coupons is another form of currency in the game, most of the time having the same value as ingots. This is along side the main currency, coins as well as the aforementioned ingots from spending real currency on the game.

- Events like Ninetails invasion, Convoys / Plunders, Group Wheel (Max out your group skills first!), and fully completing plot instances etc. do grant coupons.
- Your main source of coupons should come from: Ninetails Invasion, Group plunder/convoys, Wishing Tree, Group Wheel
ii. Save your coupons!
- The places you are looking to spend your coupons are mostly in events, where items are discounted.
- This means that you should not be spending them on the shop the moment you get coupons to power up! (Looking at you, itchy fingers)

- Some events are not worth spending coupons on, and you are better off saving them for an event that is better. (This works for many other types of event, e.g. Recruitment Feedback, where you might be better off waiting for Seal Rebates - Again, just recommendations)
- Apart from getting event Ninjas, a large part of your coupons should go towards increasing your power. (Refines, Magatamas etc.)
- If certain events does not feature your desired ninja, feel free to use the event (Section iii.) to increase your power.
iii. What events should I look out for?
- Treasure of the Sage

- This event grants discounts on certain items for up to 40%. You can click on the blue question mark (?) on the top right hand corner to see what are the maximum discounts that are given out for each item / ninja fragments in the event. Make sure to take this opportunity to increase your power! (This is also a good place to get one of the coupon ninjas, Iruka if you don't have him yet.)
- Lucky Board

- This event allows you to roll a dice to get random items. (2 free dices a day, 20 per additional dice) In addition to the items you get, you get 5/10 points per roll, where you can exchange for the items available in the shop. Furthermore, completing 1 round around the lucky board also grants you a pack which allows you a chance to get nice magatamas or even ninjas. A good place to get items and ninja fragments, allowing you to increase your power.
- Other events
- There are many other good events out there that I most likely missed and this list would be updated. However, the general guideline is to look for events which allow you to get ninjas and items at a discounted price. Any events which promises ninjas with luck *coughs* Lucky Stars *coughs* should be generally avoided from spending any coupons. (Ironically, I got GNW Tenten off that event with 600 coupons - until they made it unholy I guess)
iv. Do I really want this ninja?
- There are many ninjas out there in the game, and more would be released down the road. Make sure to look out for ninjas which you want to incorporate into your lineup, or ninjas you would use to build different teams in Ranked Battle. You have limited coupons, so knowing what ninjas to get in events are important.
- As you progress through the levels, more treasures would be unlocked. (Sage Treasure, Kage Treasure etc.) Some of the ninjas that you would need might be in these treasures, and it is wiser to draw from these treasures to see if you can get the rare ninja you want before getting them from any events. (General guideline: 50 - 70 seal scrolls per rare ninja, 2 to 3 rare ninjas per treasure)
(Note: However, if you're looking for the different Pains, getting them from events would be better as your seal scrolls are better off spent on the aforementioned Sage and Kage treasures.)
(Further Note: Jinchuuriki treasure could be coming out soon - not verified - , and you can save for that treasure as well)
- The more you play the game and interact with others, the more you'll learn about the game and know what ninjas you would be aiming for!
Additional information:
- Don't be afraid to redeem ninja fragments of ninjas that are expensive! (i.e. Sailor Sakura.. etc.) If done right, you can recruit these great ninjas through several events over time in which they appear in.
- Events are a great place to get rare ninjas, but make sure to check how much these ninjas are actually worth. Some events over-prices some ninjas when they are made available. (Land of Lightning Treasure) Hence, make sure to check the forums / ask the more experienced group members to see if you should be getting them!
- Forums do provide a good *ysis of some of the events, so reading some of the posts could help you in coming up with a decision.
I do realize this is a really short guide, and I would be updating this thread should anything come to mind.
Hope this helps anyone who happens to learn more from this thread!
