Why end the monthly event 3 days early and make it so people can't get any points for those three days? Why not just run it up until the 1st or just start the Valentines Monthly from today like i'm pretty sure it was already dated to?

It's not officially over yet.
Players are still able to buy Monthly Boxes and redeem them for points to exchange.

Valentine Monthly will start the first of February
