If I save it for like 1-2 months, I'd imagine that I'd be lacking on lots of power.
Completely f2p at 40,900 power right now. Would be 41k or 42k with my old team. But I digress.

Yeh CN has rebate event for them, up to 1k if i remember right. So safe to assume we will have one at some point. Works like just any other rebate, use x amount of keys and get stuff.

Keys are rng, each key has chance for lvl 1-5 rune or some other coupon stuff, like dango/mood scroll/refine rune/purify thing. Not sure if you can get nothing or coins, but probably 90% of keys will be the runes.

yea tho luck is important I have f2p friends who get lv 5s all the time from frees but I have only got lv 2 as highest.

I'd say you should use them until you have mostly lv 2 where they count. The power boost they will provide will let you win more reward in various places (crit will help in fox/coin trial, all the useful stat will help you in pvp where sometimes a win will carry extra reward for one reason or another), considering that lv 1&2 boost are fairly significant, the reward you get from those various places during the potential waiting period will also be potentially significant. The value of rebate you get from those rebate event might not actually match that.

That said, once you have gotten a good set of lv 2s, it hits serious diminishing return and thus won't give you too much of a boost, waiting for rebate could become a far better option.

I don't think it makes a difference unless they're releasing a Cave Key Rebate for 3.0. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
