1＃ Go ToI have and Idea for Menma you know naruto looking guy with mask from the Movie road to ninja..... It would be cool to make them you could have 2 modes like The masked one with masked beasts made like kankuro or granny chiyo chikamatsu. Other one unmasked could have simmilar to to naruto skill s only not clones. like his mystery like black ringed rasengan and more of dmg dealer while masked one more of control.... Well, there IS playboy sasuke, who is from the same place....
But at one point it is said that he is to be removed.....
I'd say the addition is only possible (and in fact likely) if playboy sasuke continues to be obtainable.
they add Road to ninja hinata later on , at least she is there in the chinese version so who knows what they gonna add from there -

Right, I couldn't remember off the top of my head which one it was, but I do believe he is also rumored to be pulled like playboy sasuke, that does not paint a pretty future as far as prospect for more ninja from the movie goes...
I would love the alt hinata btw.... because that is an interesting character.
Thing is, copyright and stuff works differently from China to US. Loads of stuff aren't properly enforced in China and devs tend to get away with all sort of stuff. Now I know this game SAYS that it's officially licensed, but we don't know to what extend exactly. Movies sometimes involve different backers(and therefore ownership rights) than the anime and therefore it's possible that they aren't actually cleared to release certain movie related stuff, either in the US or at all. (They might have thought they did, only to find out they didn't.... they never said why they are being pulled.... It's also possible that some of the owner wants the game to be canon only, which the movie and related episode might not be) -

All character sprites are made from the character models used in the Ultimate Ninja Storm games (Cyberconnect2 in the credits), if the character doesn't exist in those games, it'll never show up in the chinese Naruto Online and definitely not here.
Road To Ninja Hinata & Sasuke are DLC outfits in the Storm games, which is why they were made into their own characters in this game. However Menma was never released as a character or an outfit in those games, so there are no assets available to make that character.
CC2 would have to go back and create him from scratch, but if they've never bothered doing it for UNS4, they certainly wouldn't be doing it for Naruto Online.
It would have been nice.
You c*e this information to estimate the future characters of Naruto Online even beyond what has been released in China.
