Are you sure the reason you're not getting wiped out is because of the BP difference between you both? Because even that is a huge factor. Also, many characters start combo's at the beginning of the turn. Ay requires someone with Tag otherwise he can't get his combo going.

It looks like you need help with how to deal with Raikage.
I'll move this to general and hopefully the player base can give you some helpful tips.

Just a small one from me.
Immunity to debuffs helps. considering his burst comes after someone is tagged turn 1.
Outside of that, he's pretty easy to read. Most of his core damage can be dealt with on turn 2 with prompt healing/shields, etc.

There's plenty of ways to play around Raikage right now.

If you want to deal with Raikage, play water, as they counter lightning teams hard in 2.0

Counter them how ? its same with cursed hidan its all about bp difference where the ninja just makes it easier to win if you have more power

try spending more money than they did, I mean it is a p2w game after all

just use wind main, lightning weak againts wind and wind main can disperse/banish his buff

That logic applies to any character. It seems like you already know why they're one shotting you. It has nothing to do with Ay. Its about the BP. i have an Ay on my server and he's not even remotely one shotting anyone that's high up in BP. Focus on power for now and you won't have a problem with him

The only person who uses Ay on my server(to any useful effect and thus me bother recalling) is a ptw have like 5k on me, none of my stuff die on turn 1. One char sometimes die on turn 2 and it usually takes 4-6 turns before he 'resolves" me.

What glass cannon stuff are you running and/or how much does the guy have on you?

On a side note, I'm a ftp and I have Ay... I don't use him cause I'm wind main and will never change but meh...

Did you get Ay from the wheel of fortune ?

oops, I actually made a mistake, I don't Have Ay, only Bee.... bleh..... I don't use either so can't really tell them apart, I'm sorry T_T

And my other team have sage naruto, he and his clone can tank like a boss.

C'mon, you don't think there's a serious difference between Ay and Killer Bee? Ignoring the fact that one's an offensive powerhouse and the other is a support unit, Ay *s most ninjas in this game out of the water.

Is he completely broken? No. Can he planned around? Of course. But Killer Bee isn't in the same league as Ay. If you think that a SN clone can stop Ay, there's a significant power advantage to the player with SN then.

sage naruto, iruka, wind main, 5 kage temari .....ay is toasted round 2...and the large shields protect you

Bee more or less turns ANOTHER character on the team into something similiar to Ay, a bit weaker yes but not by much with the extra attack and immunity.

No, the clone alone wont stop him, but is tough enough that he either have to hit multiple times or eat up the chase. The remaining damage just simply enough to kill "he" which is sage naruto himself.
The amount of damage Ay can do is single target and finite, it's simply insufficient to wipe the field.

On a side note, I have all the character hyugaReyne suggests. I don't use it because there are too many earth in my server and I need my GNW kankuro badly but that's another issue altogether.

Currently a Cursed Hidan+Ay meta on some servers. The cancer is real.

Now lets run this back a little bit. Are you a global or CN player?? And how on earth did you get Ay if you're F2P

Yeah, its mostly due to BP that you're losing, since people that can afford Ay generally have a significant combat power advantage.

That being said, with equal BP it is possible to win. Just took down a Ay/SSK Susanoo team that had a 4k power advantage on me yesterday in matsuri with a Cho-Mei water team because I beat him in initiation. People that run Ay in p1 are pretty much giving up R2 skilling, so if they dont kill one of your ninjas in R1, R2 is the chance for you to stabilize. by interrupting the obvious mystery user/weak link in the opposing team. Got to put out that the opponent wasnt really thinking about his lineup much though, he was using light main, guy, raikage and ssk susanoo, no barrier ninja, which helped me survive R1 (though since I won him in initiation chances are my barrier would have won too)
