It happens because I once read somewhere that if I do it like that, I can bank in those fragments for a quicker star level promotion if I get lucky-unlucky when claiming treasure packs with my ac*ulated scrolls. So now, I've got a whole array of guys like Kidomaru, Baki, Kurenai and so on just sitting arround collecting dust. Also read that I may be missing out on a batch of coupons from "Recruit X ninja" missions though. Just wondering how you guys handle your ninja recruitment though. Researching for...... science. Depends on the ninja for me. I held onto 100 mifune frags until I drew him, which was fun. I also had groupmates who did that with Mabui. Up to you really. Long-term, it's a good strategy as stars will become more important in future updates (scrolls), but characters like Baki and Kurenai (especially), I would just recruit as they are not hard to obtain.

Depends on the ninja and if I know I could be getting frags later. But for the most part, for middle of the road ninjas (e.g, the ones you mentioned in your post that I don't really use for anything), I do recruit them because you get coupons for that and also you can get first time arena points for them.

No, just leave them there unless you need them, only thing you gain by getting new ninja is higher on ninja highscores and one time 50 coupon reward until certain point.

If they're common ninjas that can be obtained from Survival Trials or the Shops then I just go ahead and recruit them. The only time I ever held onto a character was probably the 7 day Kakashi reward and I waited until I ended up getting him in a pull.
