Something i noticed while looking at the Sword of Totsuka is that the background image is actually a stronger glow compared to Sword of god. I think you can determine the rank of an item if you can see enough of the background. Even the Red Gourd has a deeper Red than the other items with red background.
Another thing you may want to update is the Tailed Beast shuriken has lower base stats than the Paper Shuriken.

nice, i haven't seen that Red Gourd in Brother's Farewell Normal so i will need to wait for 43,600 power for that. but i assume its got some pretty nice base stats
