Is it random from the player list, based on power, based on lv, based on who is doing the trial at that time or something else? Thanks Prajit3 Reply

Im wondering that as well. seeing as i always get matched vs some 10-15lvl above me making it nearly impossible to get that last chest before breaktrough.

gotta love fighting them 10-15lvl above u with sages,pain and stuff.......

Stage 12 is meant to be harder to face.

For me, I think it might just be psychological, BUT... someone I feel that before the server refreshes at 5am every morning, so basically before I head to bed, I leave my team of 4 as the main with my 3 lowest power ninjas, or even just have my team become just my main and leave the other slots all empty. I somehow feel that my match up for survival is easier.

BUT I REPEAT... I think its just psychological. I don't think it actually makes a difference.

It's based on power .
I know this because most of my opponents are high 70s or 80s, me being a 85, but there is one and only one lv 64 that I encounter now and then, and she have MUCH higher than normal power.
This is, of course, talking about breakthrough and 10-12 node, as I don't pay attention to my sweeps. The lowest player other than 64 I get is about 75.

Oh yes, and to add on, I've read somewhere in the forums months ago, someone recommended to reset Survival Trials as the 1st thing you do in the day, cause its based on that power at the point of resetting. I don't know how true this fact is as well. But I always ensure Survival trial is the 1st thing I do.
