Awaken, Mood, and Cultivation are all aspects of the game that when you reach the specific level for the functions, it will give you a brief tutorial on how to do them. By Sage and Kage, they mean the treasures that are available later on in the game. Kage is the best one so far to pull from although there are really good ninjas in the other treasures as well.
