that seems naturual though, lots of people bump their power up for various reasons (especially with the new TI system in play), in s7 at least.

2k shouldn't be that big of a stretch though

this doesn't make any sense

1. Getting accidentally locked into a non-pvp team is WORSE possibility that can apply to EVERYONE as opposed to what you are complaining about, something that only apply to a handful of people near the split.

2. I'm always of the opinion that people near the split should alternate between top of lower and bottom of upper bracket. So what happened is perfectly fine IMO, as if the bump puts you in upper, you were in fact the top dog of lower bracket and now there is balance. That said, ideally in a few sages the bar will be raised so that you will return to the lower bracket--I said I'm a supporter of alternating, not one being stuck in bottom of upper forever. For this thou, it would require a more dynamic cut for the brackets, right down the middle based on registered player count sounds good to me. That way, you will have a chance to return to top of lower. But that's another discussion altogether.

3. You are hardly the only person suffering from power bloat due to one reason or another, fact is most people are. So as it applies to everyone, it's fair. For all intend and purposes "35k max power" and "34k current power" have little difference, and the amount of power to be the line is completely arbitrary, for all intend and purposes it can be 33983.

Unfortunately, Sage Battlefield isn't measured on current power levels, nor would it ever. Considering players could purposely power down just to secure lower bracket positions.
