yes tobi is still useful, maybe not as much as before though. he still does a awesome amount of damage and the 20 extra chakra he gives can be very usefull if you have a team that uses alot of chakra.
in my opinion the worst part about him now is the fact that he cannot chase off his mystery now.

His chase still awesome but i dont like his passive n mys atm.

The nerf hit him hard. He still has use: he didn't lose damage, it's just harder to properly maximize since he doesn't lead into his chase. He still has his dodge. He lost the revive/cleanse in favor of a chakra battery mechanic.

On one hand, it's nice to give players who dont want to play chakra gaining mains (and don't have ninjas like sage naruto, asuma, mabui, etc.) a "free" method for chakra acceleration. On the other, he's just not very good outside of that - and if you are running nukers you want a ninja that can offer more than that extra chakra. Heals, shields, buffs, clones, etc. Tobi's damage/ignition just isn't really worth it compared to other ninjas that give chakra.

In a nutshell, by the time you can see and recognize his merits - you'll be ready for someone that does what he can do much better.

I actually still use Tobi, (which i know isn't recommended but I haven't found a good nin to replace him yet), so if you do wanna use him,

Well im lvl 56 and i use main kurenai kakashi hinata atm but i'll keep that lineup in mind thanks!

If you haven't bought him, I say it's not worth it really, so just remember that ya!

I've him just to complete 5* so later in the game i can gain fragments and do refinement.

I used to use him before he was nerf then I completely changed my whole team.

Tobi is not useful for the most part. His high damage chase isn't enough to compensate for everything he lost.

The only time he is useful is in a couple of Ninja Exams, in which you don't really need him apart from his chase. Other than that, you should shelve him.

He is an interesting component for ftp fire boost lineups that might (or will have) regular Jiraya and other high-chakra ninja that would like 20 extra chakra a round. This means you can pull off some of the turn 1 40 chakra mysteries in ftp without needing seal-scroll purchased ninjas like Wind Blade Asuma or the Sage's

I don't find Tobi useful at all now. I find that any team with him in it lacks and is easily killed. By putting him in you're removing a mystery that could be used as a combo starter, controller, or support. This post was last edited by Niji at 2017-1-31 02:58

Tobi is not so useful anymore. Well, he was when he had the Unyielding ability, but when it was changed with Behind the Scenes, he kinda *s. THe only reason I ever used him was because of Unyielding, but now, I rarely use him! if you don't have any of the Sage Mode characters, Tobi, I guess?, can be a replacement.

Tobi is no longer useful. He was nerfed so bad until he becomes non-usable in most cases.

But that will change when skill breakthrough comes as they say. But until then, he is useless.

he does if u using full DPS burst 1 shot team

ofc, why not, he have good chase dmg, its high dmg, if u can crit from his chase it will come 4k - 7k for me. and he have good stat.

He can work well with Deidara still, his mystery has no battlefield cooldown, and does ignite. And we all know what Deidara does with ignited people :D

He is still useful with a team that can setup his chase. Its not a huge deal imo that he cant do it himself, thats what a teams for,it still does huge damage. The chakra boost is nice for a team that needs it, and he is an affordable shinobi for such a purpose. You need to build to utilize him now as opposed to brainlessly putting him in every time like his glory days.
