There is less info bout element resist in ninja tools.

For example if im using Ligthing main and max reforge all 10 ninja tools to:
1. 40% water resist
2. 40% earth resist
3. 40% lightning resist
4. 40% fire resist
5. 20% wind resist

The question are, are these all element resist worth than other def stat such resistance and damage reduction? or how these element resist work? Its look so good if i can take less damage in percentage for any attack.
