I don't mind that the update is coming out in phases but I agree that communication was lacking. It was a letdown not to get cross server arena and i'm not sure what aspects of the home screen we are getting or if GNW packs or format have been updated or not.
It would have been a really simple thing to let us know that the features would be coming out in phases instead of a complete overhaul and saved everyone a lot of confusion.More clear communication about what features to expect, perhaps when the next update will be, and what features have been implemented would be even now very beneficial.

As far as the combo simulator, I disagree. If given the choice of phased updates or waiting until the combo simulator is finished, I would have picked phased updates. Sorry you feel otherwise, but for me, having GNW white list, new TIs, Kakashi Handbook, sealed ninjas are more important than the combo simulator. Just my opinion.

just because you thought we will get everything right away doesn't mean we are missing some updates. Some features are delayed due to specific reasons. Some of them are scheduled to be added later in the future.

To defend you a little, you guys mentioned in a brief description of what was to come, but the things that weren't mentioned, I would of assumed were coming in later. That is the only explanation I have for them not releasing everything is because they didn't mention anything about the other updates.

They had a site (and still have it, I'm not gonna link it cause the ban hammer is strong) that outlined everything that was coming with 2.0. There was no mention of some of the features outlined in that site not being implemented with the 2.0 update. Things like the hot springs, and keys from the wishing tree were clearly shown to be coming with 2.0.

I know, I saw that as well, and of course, it is their fault for not mentioning s regardless of what they say. It was poorly handled and such, but in their brief description of the 2.0 update, the keys and hot springs were not included, nor the cross server arena. You can conclude they had no intention to release it yet as it was not ready.

Now there is another argument, like any other company, they could simply just say it's not ready, but didn't. Does go into law terms as some indie and big companies can't get away with :lol:lol but this is how they do their marketing/business. In the future they should address that the update will not contain everything.

I thought we would get everything by the fact on the site it gives examples of updates we are suppose to get with 2.0. Also staggering updates should have been said. I was not the only person assuming that all updates were suppose to be included with the update of 2.0. The mods and admins should have been more transparent how 2.0 was going to be disrupted. This would have let us the consumers know what is going to happen. I am not saying we should know specifics because that is not something we have to know.

Also to the first sentence of your statement. We are missing updates that this company put out would happen with the 2.0 update. I understand that you are going to stagger the update but as I said before it should have been put out that it was going to be staggered. You are going to comment, its none of our business how updates are going to be put out but you are wrong. We are the consumer and we deserve to know how the updates for 2.0 are going to happen. This does not mean I care about when or what. I care about how they are going to come out.

I am going to go out and say this because it is how I feel. I think the company rushed 2.0 and the reason I think the company did was because the animosity the forum/game players put on the events. The other reason is there is German in the game. The third and final reason is the fact that not all the updates are working as intended as well as the description to some events such as plundering. I can understand why the company would ru* out to give consumers a reason to stay.

I am still a firm believer of patch notes. It is more of a standard in modern gaming for companies to provide patch notes with any update that outlines all the changes that occurred with the update.

Hey, so lets make this clear.

What can you see is a summary of almost all updates we will add to the game, according to our schedule. The fact that some things we announced are not in the game YET is normal. They are delayed due to specific reasons we won't share with players, or it's just not right time to add them to the game yet. In other words, we will get both Mysterious cave (that includes keys as rewards for Wishing tree) and Hot spring as part of Home update. You don't have to worry about it, we are not giving you false info about updates.
But not only that, we will add more new and interesting "things". What and when ? Well, I will keep that as a secret for now. ; P

As for if 2.0 was rushed or no. I can tell you that is wasn't. We were planning and making this update for few months already. But the coding for our test version is a bit different and to be honest with you, we didn't expect to meet that many problems. We are aware of them (most of them are problems with translation) and our team is working on them every day. We are trying to find and fix as many problems as possible every day. But you have to understand that sometimes information that players provide to us are a bit confusing and sometimes even false.
We wanted to do quick hotfix but it looks like we will rather wait for normal maintenance and we will fix most of the problems then. At least that is our plan for now. I'm not saying everything will be fixed this week. That is honestly almost impossible because we need and have to focus on other things too. One part of team is doing that, other part is preparing new events, others are checking problems with 2.0 and I could continue .. as you can see, we are really busy and we are working really hard to satisfy our players.

Daiske ignore a few people that arent happy for no reason at all im pretty sure more than 90% of the people are happy with the 2.0 Update ofc we would like hot spring and all that stuff but * guys let them breath for a second u dont have to rush everything take a moment and enjoy your 1050 coupons weekly from plunder :P .

In all serious tho. I understand why they are releasing in 2 parts.
There are 2 reasons i can possibly think of, and none of them are bad.

1. Buisness, Look at movies. They are making it a 2 part update because it will keep players for longer amount of time. When the hype from 2.0 goes down, BOOM part 2 of 2.0 and people will be hyped again. Also another reason is they didn't want to overwhelm people with everything. Both these reason are fine in my eyes.

2nd reason is just they couldn't fix all the bug and glitches, so instead of holding off on everything, they released everything they though was good for the game and left the rest out to fix.

Overall I'd rather have a nice, flowing game over a rushed and buggy game with more content.

these may not even be the reasons, but that's my overall look of the update.
