So, I found out that with the 2.0 update, Strong Approaching now drops medium thread. I was curious if anyone knows the drop rate, or how many you can get from doing difficult mode? So far, from doing normal, I've seen at most 1 medium thread drop. Basically, I want to know if it's worth dealing with difficult for extra (if any) medium threads than normal mode, since I no longer need the cloths, or if I should just * with doing normal. I switched mains and I'm no longer confident with Strong Approaching, haha.

Sorry if this has already been asked. Thanks in advance!

There should be a lot of difficult SA with F2P ninjas guides for each main around if you look for it; good luck!

Ah, yeah. I'm a fire main at the moment, and most of them use Sakura, I think. Mine is just... bleh. xD
But yeah, I'll probably spend a day to try to get them all done. I just need to not be lazy about it, haha.
Thank you!

Dont really need a strong one, just have sakura sai kakashi/sasuke for the combos hehe. As long as you and your teammates have sufficient interrupts in position 1 the damage should be minimal

Or just pray for Hidan SA.
Normal is a piece of cake. I can literally leave the game on auto and I'd win normal all day.
I haven't tried difficult, though . . .hmm

There are guides for it sure, but it's painful grind... you have to be attentive the whole way through and make no mistake (and in some cases, pray to god your normal attack dont proc a chain when you dont want it to)
This is something I really could live without.... but at least now it serves a purpose again, for a while....

I typically do SA Hidan in a group with two other people. As long as all teams have two combo initiators, at least a 7 combo, and a *ton of clones to spawn, the difficult mode is easily beat, so long as nobody starts a rogue combo at the wrong time :P Drops 2-3 medium threads along with common thred, medium cloth, and advanced cloth. I did my first full difficult Hanzo set since the patch and my drops were 2,2,3,2,2,3 for medium threads if this helps anyone.

Also, a little tip for people who might be struggling with the Hanzo SA: If you can work Tayuya into your position one spot she not only brings an interrupt which you need, but you also no longer have to worry about accidentally starting a combo before Shizune/Karin heal. This drastically cuts down the frustration level of this SA as you no longer need to restart so many times.
