well if you have enough coins stacked in ranked shop, he is good for ranked battle as he paralyze upto 9 people with his mystery and poison with his chases, and ranked shop won't update anywhere soon i guess.

The ranked shop is one of those things you'll have a ton of tokens for. Even if you don't use him you get coupons for having a new ninja so why not?
