I like to think that this is a lil moment of Water to shine.

We've had Lightning to be hated in the early stages of the game. Because of paralysis and Seal strike.
Then we have/had Fire and Earth Mains hated cause, shields and ignite and everything they're hated.
Now we have Water main have her little moment to be hated.
I'm waiting on Breeze's moment if she hasn't been hated. (Which I'm sure she hasn't)

Besides Water was mostly doing support for most of time before 2.0 update.

Yay, now * talk me because this is a * post. (Nah, I don't mean that, but I realize my thoughts are pretty weird.)

Nah water's perfectly viable at upper levels with the right ninja. I'm running Mei, Sailor Sakura and Ao, with Poison Tai and Reserve Seal Passives, using Monster Strength and Skewering with the low float chase and Monkey King and having no problem holding my 3rd position. And hopefully when we get GNW Sakura, I'm going to try swapping Sailor Sakura for GNW Tenten, and Mei for GNW Sakura since they have the same chases, just to try and use my bb GNW Tenten.
New water talents are great if you know how to use them, and tbh Neurotoxin's not worth using if you're not using chakra blade. Sharkbomb is much too iffy on the crit and there's too many immune or reflective characters now, it's a bit * to try and use it and expect it not to fail occasionally.

People are really complaining about water being broken?? I run Mabui Mei Main GNW Ten, I have the highest bp on my server and generaly wreck everyone, but if I'm not actually paying attention I can be beaten by a significantly lower bp control team...if you're having probs against water I suggest you run a CC team with some sort of debuff transfer/cancel.

I agree with the guy above me, I lost 3/4 of my hp to some one 10k bp under me because of their fire cc control team. Water is strong right now, but not broken. Broken is when you crit 5k - 6k on some1 the same battlepower as you because of a secondary effect on *ready strong passive..... You know who im talking about.

So because water has a good team I should have to run a counter team. Are we really getting into the meta/counter-meta argument? Because that's when games stop being fun, at least to me before 2.0 I felt I could pick any main and build a decent team with them, now it seems to be all well these people get run so I need CC and the ability to remove debuffs and oh wait there no open spots for the people I wanted to put in my team.

At least this game isn't at the TCG level of BS on deck composition. meta in TCGs is you either run meta or you build your entire deck around stopping the top deck of the season, then new cards come out and you start over.

Anyway, I have not personally played water, I do not know of her strengths and weaknesses, only that after the update her control got a lot stronger and she became more annoying overall. Her team may be squishy if the opponent has the right team and the water user isn't paying attention but mei tenten mabui and main is just a strong team regardless, turn 1 tenten mystery, turn 2 mei and pretty much game over after that.

I've played several teams since 2.0 all have their merits. I'mc urrently running GNW Tenten/Mabui/Mei/Water Main with both Heal mystery and standard attack along with the left side of the bottom passives with Lightning Tiger summon.

Typically I can dorp most people to below half on turn 1 with GNW Tenten, though there have been times where she gets interrupted/CC'd after using her ability costing me the 60 Chakra instead of Mei right off the bat on turn 2 which means I have to wait for Mabui to have her standard attack passive trigger for Mei to be usesful, but it works pretty well, helps that I'm 7th in power on my server and there is a fairly decent drop-off from 1st to 2nd as well as the rest of the top 10 to the next couple.

I've also ran Lightning/Cursed Hidan/Killer Bee/Danzo with the Root/Anbu which had quite a bit of success against everyone but the several Empress teams, their shields were too much to get through at similar power levels, though the water team was manageable. The team also had some trouble against teams that ran numerous clones, such as the Ao CC teams, as more often than you think Hidan would hit the clones with his Tags making his burst down more or less meaningless.

I've also ran Empress, by Empress I'm takling about the PB Sasuke/Mei/Mabui/Wind Main team that is very good, but it has trouble against the Fire double CC teams that are still quite prevailent running Danzo/Ao/Fire Main/(Damage dealer typically Sage Naruto) that can keep it under a CC chain until Mei is dropped and the damage from the team drops significantly. This team by sheer size of their shields does well against any other team typically though.

I've also seen/heard of numerous other variations on teams to include an Earth Blitz team utilizing 8Gates Lee that was wrecking face, Water Main/Chojuro/Darui Poison Tai teams, and many others. Water main has its' place and being equal or higher power definitely means Water has a chance, but if you are just equal power you likely aren't as strong as you would like.

Also to the person talking about the SSakura passive, you need to stack your Water Main with as much health as possible in Magatamas/Runes to get the most out of it definitely, but she can be one of the better tanks in the game with some damage to follow along.

if u are decently tanky u only need 1 cc to counter turn 1 ten ten, interrupt ten round 1, and tank mei's mystery, if u run any shields that shouldnt too be that big an issue, of course u also need decent initiative or put ur interrupt first in slot.. 2.0 and kage changed the meta, now u have to adapt, another patch will change the meta again, you will start to see lightning mains run cursed hidan roshi killer b, wonder if you will post on the forums then saying lightning is broken...after that you will have earth mains reworked and gettin much better at end game...the meta will continue to change its up to you the player to adapt or not.

Breeze has a hilarious round 1 20 chakra buff removal and moderate combo affect that hits 4 people.

Other than that, and some playing around with chakra coordination, the only 'new' skill i use often is the high-float to repulse chase (Bakhi's).

However, there are some decent changes to her older skills (Flower Guard now does a Gaara and shields 2 kunoichi a round, plus removes a debuff, which is nice)
