I assume it'll probably make more sense when we do GNW probably??) But more importantly When you check a white-listing box in the group the dialogue that comes up is still in (chinese?) Reply

Ah thank you that makes way more sense to me!
I knew they were going to implement something related to hiding battle lineups and thought this probably had something to do with it but the in-game wording was really odd.

Yes

White-listing enables the selected guild members to see formations/positioning.
