I was wondering what exactly white-listing was (I don't really understand the explanation that hovering over it gives. I assume it'll probably make more sense when we do GNW probably??)
But more importantly
When you check a white-listing box in the group the dialogue that comes up is still in (chinese?)

Only people that are white-listed can see the formation prior to the fight starting

Ah thank you that makes way more sense to me!
I knew they were going to implement something related to hiding battle lineups and thought this probably had something to do with it but the in-game wording was really odd.

White-listing enables the selected guild members to see formations/positioning.
