The thing about OP mains and what not are what ninjas you have to support them. Lightning came out on top with azure this last update, with wind kinda in the middle and fire/earth towards the bottom (poor earth main). However Lightning still has a very definite playstyle in which victory is determined in the first two/three rounds.
Sage Naruto is crazy good - but a strange fit for lightning main. He is not lightning element. Has no sword and is normally a juicy first turn target for acupuncture/paralyze/control/etc. He does however, provide you with a beefy clone to soak hits, and extra chakra along with a devastating mystery. But just pairing those two together and tossing in whatever spare ninjas you have around won't give you a good team. You don't get success by just throwing together whatever OP ninjas you together.
I run Lightning, sage naruto, killer bee, and darui. It works - kinda. I win way more fights than I should for such a janky team. I'm not particularly happy with darui's performance but it holds up well - but the main strategy is still there for lightning - it's all about those first two/three turns. If sage naruto dies at the start of round 2 I don't care- so long as I can take out 1 or two ninjas with him. There is a strange sort of synergy they have, but I know that trading out just one of those ninjas would likely make the whole thing fall apart.
You don't have anything I could recommend to really support lightning/sage. You can try sasuke/kimimaro I guess, but it would feel like a less consistent version of a more traditional build.
What you do have is a great wind main team. Sage naruto, kage conference temari, onoki and wind main would be just plain fantastic for you. OP mains aren't as important as good team synergy.
