As I said in my post, the "first stryke status" or initiative as you called it don't seem to interfere with this kind of effect, you can clearly see that when you use Naruto and Iruka (I'm using this example because it's a well known combo in the community), in order for Iruka to buff Naruto's clones you must put Naruto in your team and then put iruka in, and it doesn't matter whether Iruka has more initiave than Naruto or neither does it matter if Iruka is a movement ahead.
The main question here is how to define which team uses their "start of combat" abilities first. And this also don't seem to be because of initiave. This post was last edited by Akino-65 at 2017-1-4 21:19
It is based entirely out of overall initiative as i said. Not that specific CHARACTERS initiative but the TEAMS initiative as a whole. In other words if your main has 1600 initiative but the team combined only has 2200 while the enemy main has 1400 initiative but a combined of 2201 they are going to use theirs later then yours.
