yeah... Darui seems to have the most functions of any of the kage ninjas, what with his 10 combo chase and all. He's easy to use and fits right into the whole Root of Warrior me

Kazekage Gaara's kinda awkward because of his 80 cost mystery, even tho his shields are massive. Luckily, 2.0 is coming soon, and the Wind Main gets passive that allows her to generate 80 chakra easily by turn 2. It's fantastic :D
Darui is worse th*l of the kages (obviously he would be worse, he's not a kage lol) He has lots of chases sure but the damage isn't insane on them or anything and his 10 hit chase does basically no damage and it causes paralyze(who cares they will already be paralyzed by mb or his own mystery..) plus he's exactly the same amount of squishy as 3 star sasuke. Having any of the kage means you have immobile on a chase, pretty much the best debuff in the game. And for a pure nin mystery it doesn't really do a whole lot as Mei's does more damage AND ignites which is better than paralyze which you will already have on them from your 10hit lol. As far as 80 chakra gaara mystery, use killer bee on mabui and you can gaara going into turn 2, even more ways to get that chakra round 1 going into round 2 in 2.0 as well. -

Hmm. Where to start.
The immobile chases are probably what makes the Kages so good, but that doesn't mean Darui isn't one of the best.
1. His paralyze chase basically allows you to stop all combos every round, which means that immobile chase isn't happening anyway.
2. If you're still using Midnight Blade's Chidori Blade mystery, you're horribly outdated.
3. His mystery still hits hard and is 40 chakra cost, meaning it's more easily used by players that were able to get him and don't have somebody like Sage Naruto or Mabui to generate chakra for a 60 or 80 cost mystery by turn 2.
4. Mei's mystery is better, but it really doesn't matter when you can stop it with round 1 cc. With root of Warrior, you can't stop Darui.
5. You say that Darui is the worst, but you're only comparing him to Mei, who is hands-down the best kage. Tell me what advantage that Onoki or Gaara has over Darui that make them better overall....
P.S. Mabui and Kazekage Gaara is quite possibly the most disjointed team out there. Both of them work with two completely different attributes. You're solely using her for her chakra, and in a buff-heavy meta, that's a dumb idea, since you're wasting either Gaara's barrier buff or Mabui's shields.
You say to use Killer B, but that leaves you with one spot for your main. Now you sacrifice either one cc or one dps/combo-starting mystery; neither of which is ideal.
Finally, not everyone has Killer B. Using Wind Main, like I've said, allows anybody with Kazekage Gaara to generate chakra without relying on two other characters. You just have to wait a week or two. This post was last edited by DraconusNex at 2017-1-4 00:32
there are plenty of setups for Gaara nuking with wind main but that's not really the point. Also I don't know where people got the idea of root making it so your mystery can't be rupted but just so you know acupuncture immobile interruption all still will stop your mystery, which means the way you use root is letting them hit you before you use your mystery then you mystery next and leech back the damage you took (something Darui can't do..because he's pure nin..) Not to say he's bad, he's just a direct upgrade from 3 Star Sasuke (hence the exact same growth stats)

Mei
Gaara
Danzo
Darui
Bee(this one can be worst or best in kage treasure depends heavily upon certain ninja and gets better later)
Chojuro/Mifune/Onoki all about the same.
People that don't have Darui or haven't used him much are overrating him making him seem way better than he actually is so I'm just giving my two cents as someone who has used Darui since day one of kage treasures being released. If Darui's mystery was mixed damage instead of pure nin he would be so much better than he is right now its unreal, but sadly that will never be changed so he won't ever be game changing like Mei Tendo SS Gaara etc -
