The only "FU" the devs are giving are to the player who abuse Tobi, Didn't save up for a rare in kage, and or neglect kage common 10 draw ninjas. Otherwise I don't see what the problem is in adding more diversity to team building. Having to constantly fight the same copy paste teams with slight tweaks is annoying and boring for the game. The main reason why Tobi was overused was not because of P2Ws, it was because the F2Ps using Tobi held a HUGE advantage over the F2Ps not using Tobi. The whole "Tobi was the only tool against P2W" argument is FALSE. P2Ws could run a microwave in there comps and still beat you with the huge power differance. Now F2Ps won't have to be me
ta slaves and run Tobi inorder to compete against other F2Ps with Tobi. I'm looking foward to the changes tomorrow and can't wait to see the unique teams people will build in survival. Good Luck!
Well your argument of survival is invalid, as the teams are random and do not stay constant on a day to day basis.
"Didn't save up for a rare in kage" yeah because its really easy to save/get 60+ seal scrolls to spend at once for F2P players to get those rare drops, and even the "common" ninjas aren't really common you still have to get lucky to get them and not get either a duplicate or something from another treasure pack like kisame or itatchi.
So what you have to fight the same team over and over, either you should easily be able to beat it by now or you don't know how to play. -

never used tobi so not a problem for me i always manage to make a team to counter tobi :>

tobi NEVER helped f2p against ptw, because it's not like the ptw can't use him as well. if the ptw is not sufficiently ptw to get exclusive/super rare ninjas to beat you w/o tobi, they are going to run him themselves and beat you with superior power. the top ptw in my server runs tobi when he is fire and 3 of the other top 10 ptws also runs tobi(all except one of the fire ones)
The only thing tobi ever did is make the elements unbalanced, making fire, and to some extend earth, f2p stronger than other f2ps (might apply to ptw too, but ptwness matters more there so i'm not sure)
On my server at least, fire and earth population is significantly above par, while lightning and water are below par to the same extend. The only reason wind population is roughly on par in the server is because of some GNW kankuro centered builds have been popularized in our server. GNW kankuro is also getting nerfed from what I heard, so not sure how things will be afterwards. -

Funny because the teams I get in survival DO constantly stay the same. Been fighting the same guy using Minato in the same spott since the merge. As for F2Ps not having enough seals for 1 kage rares then how did the F2P players from my group get 1-2 rares from kage? It could be because they stopped pulling for pains and saved up scrolls one month in advance. Out of the 60 pulls I did in kage all but one were new ninjas. Dont know why you assume you'll always get kisame ane Itachi dupes.

The main reason I wanted to Tobi nerfed was his resurrect and his mystery, so I'm extremely happy.
Now that his mystery no longer ties into his chase, players can't depend on Tobi to be their combo starter and must have somebody else to fill that slot. This, by itself, makes it a little more difficult to direct Tobi's chase.
And most importantly, he no longer revives. The most infuriating thing about a Tobi, for me, is when I've cc'ed him, he's sitting there useless, and I kill him. He comes back with 40% health, all debuffs removed, ready to fk your * up with his mystery+chase.
His resurrect gives him a deceptive amount of health, and with it gone I'm confident I'll see some unique teams. This post was last edited by DraconusNex at 2016-12-31 17:34

Whatever you want to say now about why I'm happy for Tobi's nerf, I'm celebrating it, since, if you'll guide your short-sighted eyes to the title of thread, it's what this thread entails. Not entirely sure what you're doing.
Not to mention that whatever spiel you're going on about now to defend him, Tobi's far inferior to how he used to be, and will be removed from several teams. -

Wow,
This thread actually shows that either the population of this game is quite young (probably under 13 years old) or that its not very intellectually blessed. I am just amazed with all the hate towards a char that everyone could get and use at 5 stars and no one actually understanding where his strengths were. The most ridiculous comment was "Ugh - his damage is insane and the fact that he revives is even more annoying" - my answer to that is: Oh my god, really ? Maybe you should consider using Orochimaru in that case who has more auto-attack dmg and higher base stats and can revive even more times ? Or Hidan who can revive more and has higher damage ? Others will say OMG the evade - that has some truth to that, but still irrelevant as we have things like Itachi who can evade possibly even more, and can sleep on Auto-attack. The problem with tobi were his ignites on ult, chase and auto-attack and the chase dmg. Chase dmg - no secret that that was too much. Ignites were just absurd - if he initiates, even if the enemy would have 2 or even 3 reflects - the enemy would still get the ignite and a massive chase. That being said - I dont mind him getting the nerf as long as its not China level where he becomes completely useless.

I don't follow you around I just agree with none of your opinions lols. Tobi can do the same stuff just differently now and people think he's like deleted or something but I can assure you he will still piss people off for a while with certain teamsI don't use him anyway but not that much changes for people who do use him

First, get that ad hominem away if you want to join an adult discussion
Second, I don't care about his "strong", "weak" or anything. I don't hate him, but I hate the fact that 90% people on my server use him and it make the game super boring because everyone just abuse the same tactic over and over. I want him to be "changed", so that people actually use their brain to think for another strategy keeping the game fresh and exciting.
Third, he literally gets sage mode inplace of his revive so I wouldn't call that useless -
