Once you've furthered yourself to around Lv. 30 you will begin to notice that your formation isn't doing the trick. Some poeple look for high combos but honestly it isn't all about that. No formation will be flawless but there is a way to better your formation. Here are a few steps to increase your formation.

Defense Formation
First make sure you categorise your characters so you know which attribute they are best at. This could be healing, defense, high combo attack, ect.
Once you've done that you want to make sure you have someone with high defense infront of your most important, high attacking characters. I usually use a two by two format with my strongest in defense in front to absorb all of the damage and my strongest in attack behind them. This could be Hinata and Neji in front with Tobi and Chiyo behind them.

Chase
After you've met those two requirments you can mix and match. Just make sure you have those defense in front or your entire team will be compromised. Also pay attention to the characters chase. You can make a chain of combo if you do this correctly. Like one character might take low float and end in repulse and another character could take repulse and end in high float etc. This will result in a combo.


Pay attention to defense and the chase effect of your players and this will result in a much better Team Formation.
