Okay, on the Team Page, you can have only four ninjas. But there are three extra slots on there. What are their purpose of being there?

on some instances, particularly multiwaved instances you can "sub" in and out ninjas. Sometimes after each wave tehre is a "LINEUP" *on where you can replace ninjas such as those who have fallen in the first couple waves of battle.

No, you will always only have 4 ninjas on your team, so they'll take the equipments of whoever they're subbed in for
