Welp, might as well try doing one of these myself.
Kidomaru (Wind)
Source: Instances (Level 30, 40, 60)
Survival Trial Probability Reward

Traits: Hidden Sound, Curse Mark, and Seal
Skills:

Mystery: Summoning Jutsu: Raining Spider (20 Chakra, 3-round cooldown, no battlefield cooldown)
"Causes Taijutsu damage and Ninjutsu to the entire enemy team and lower its resistance."
- Low damage to all enemy team members
- Lowers Resistance
- Does not start Combos
- Damage is primarily Taijutsu, secondarily Ninjutsu
Standard: Taijutsu Attack
"Attack the front enemy and has a chance of Double Combo and Repulse."
- Taijutsu damage
- Nothing special really
Chase: Spider Bow: Fierce Rip
"Chase and attack the High Floated enemy and cause Repulse and Poisoning. The Repulsed enemy may cause damage to its rear rank."
- Taijutsu damage
Passive: Malleable me
tal Armor
"Increase shield before each action. Can be triggered twice per round."
- I'm not sure which stat affects this. It's labeled as "Ninjutsu". I personally think it's Resistance because of characters like Iruka and Gaara whose shields are based off Resistance, but I'm not 100% sure.
- Similar to Gaara's Sand Shield
Passive: Curse Tag
"Increase own defense and resistance when attacked each time."
- Labeled as "Taijutsu"
- Works well with Kabuto
Kidomaru's stat growth (from highest to lowest) is Life, Resistance, Ninjutsu, Defense, and Attack.
My thoughts:
It's pretty clear that he's meant to soak up damage; however, we already have Kimimaro (who's almost identical to him) and most people I see end up using Kimimaro instead of him. I personally find him useful in arena and survival trial, mainly because a: for me, his shield often grows to 50-100% of his HP in Arena and b: unlike Kimimaro, he has a shield, meaning that I'm less dependent on healers to keep him maintained.
The mystery is really devastating to cloners like the Wind main and Naruto; since you can activate it on the first turn, you can easily eliminate all of the shadow clones on the board immediately. This is quite useful against those with the Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu passive. However, the cheap accessibility and the resistance debuff of the mystery is its only advantage over Kimimaro's mystery; Kimi's mystery has a shorter cooldown, starts combos, and is more powerful.
Works well with Kabuto, as explained here.
What are your thoughts on this ninja? Would you prefer using him or Kimimaro?
