Well, the Earth Main's skill says it applies based on his "own" resistance so could it be possible that minato's resistance buffs won't apply to the main's skill since it's not his own resistance but a boosted one from Minato? I see that Iruka's shield doesn't mention the part of it being ba sed on his "own" resistance but just general resistance.
Maybe someone with Hiruzen (3rd Hokage) can test it and see if it's only Minato's resistance buff that isn't working for Earth Main's shield.
