Just like what Clay Lord said, it is nothing but a souvenir from someone who plundered your mine .. The other items you might get from that are Chiyo's Swimsuit Poster and the Chicken Burrito thing, i forgot the name xD ..
The "chicken god or whatever it is" thingie can actualy grant you one of achievements, if you get is as gift from mine plundered, right?- so at least one of those items isn't comepletely useless (beside being proud owner of awesome and legendary poster with young Chiyo ofc)

Yes2, that's one of the needed for the Medals .. I think the Chicken Burrito thing is the one that you need to pay 10k coins or 1k coins to gift .. But still Chiyo's poster is the best i agree .. hahahaha :D
