The standard attack of sakura sailor uniform says that she should ignore defensive skills, but as far as i see there's not even a single defense skill she ignores. Evasion skills don't get overcome, stacking ninja defense or shields neither. What are then the defensive skills the tooltips talk about?
luka is correct, all ninja who say they ignore defensive skills only ignore taunt, you can test that with a fire main using sleep and a hinata with her mystery active in the front row, he says he ignores defensive skills too but he can be dodged/blocked if the enemy is in front of him, but he wont attack a ninja using taunt who isnt in front of him
well of course it ignores taunt. it attacks multiple people at the same time. that text is misguiding and should be removed on every skill that does so.
No, because hits 4 targets, if on the field there are 5+ targets the specification is right is there because means that not necessarily one of the 4 targets has to be a ninja with taunt effect.
more importantly it ignores the palm rotation thing that hinata and neji do, as well han's little steam release thing. or at least other "ignore defensive skills" attacks do, such as sage naruto
no no, hinata still avoids the damage if hit by it.
1. There is no such thing as "ignore defense skill" It's a mistranslated of "ignore taunt"
2. Sage Naruto does NOT ignore defense skill, nowhere does it say he does. Instead, sage naruto does NOT have a standard "attack". When he attacks, he is using one of his passive skill, which is more like a chase attack than it is a standard attack. Rotation does not work on it because rotation does not work on chase skill.
Some moves have a "certain hit" property, examples include gnw 1010 mystery, sage naruto standard, regular naruto standard, kushina standard. These attacks will always hit the enemy, and do not trigger evasion or block skills. Evasion or block skills that only function against the first attack suffered can still be triggered later in the round even if the ninja get hit by a "certain hit" attack.
The "certain hit" property is not always displayed in the skill desc
-----------
Some moves, like sailor sakura standard, or mb first standard, ignore taunt skills. These skills are still subject to evasion and block skills.
For sailor sakura specifically, the standard means if there are 5 or more units on the field, hinata with mystery active does not have to be one of four units hit. Edo deidara also hit 4 units per standard, but hinata with mystery active has to be one of the units hit, while the other 3 are random.
