I have seen quite a few (and I too, personally) run the first standard for not as much to ignore taunt, but simply for chase purposes. (The ignore taunt comes as a bonus for me, really) On the other hand, I hardly see people run the standard targeting lowest hp, most likely due to the fear of targeting clones and essentially wasting your first turn and pretty much all your damage potential.

When you miss the war and the war is still on going, just try to enter it as per normal. The cheer *on should be in the table interface - near where you edit your lineup if I'm not mistaken. (Been a while since I used the cheer function, location might differ :p)

Use this site: http://*.qq.com/tool/huoying/mnq.htm or https://naruto.rednubes.de/ to see how your chases will work with your team. Find out where your chases end for your different mysteries, and which chase has not been yet triggered in the combo, with no summons. Use your summon to link up the broken combos in the lineup as much as you can. (For example, linking your earth main chase to yagura's chase if yagura's chase is not yet triggered in your combo) Hope this helps with your future team building as well.

Exp From Mobs

I believe they give you ninja exp, or experience for ninjas apart from your main character. (Eg. Naruto, if you're using him in your lineup and is not already at the highest possible level) Your main character only receives exp from events and missions/instances. As far as I know the mobs are pretty useless, as most don't worry about not having enough food for their ninjas to level up anyway.
