Hiding and not sharing our entire plan with the community are 2 different things.
Most of the time players want to know everything about new updates right now. Honestly, that is no possible. We have our schedule. However, it can change so there is no point giving players our plans and especially dates. It will cause only more trouble. Regarding this problem. I've said it several times, we can't share more info because we are in the middle of conversation with the different parties. We won't remove or revamp Playboy Sasuke or Shikamaru Make-Out paradise. There is problem with these two ninja and due to this problem we won't be able to release them in events anytime soon. But that doesn't mean players won't be able to receive them in the future. They will ! When ? I have no idea.
The reason why we didn't announce it officially is because we don't want to force players to buy things they don't want to buy. Imagine announcing there is chance we might not be able to release Playboy Sasuke or Shikamaru Make-out paradise ever again. Few days ago we had this information. However, situation is different now.
Thats why when the news came out and iwas maybe never come out changed the way i acted towards PB sasuke. If there was no more chances then obviously i would want him. But now that its u just down know when its fine and i probly would of saved. That's the only reason this got kinda scetched, but now its fine thx for giving us the info Daiske -

My biggest issue is that if I'd have known before this current event started that there was a possible issue with PB Sasuke, I would have prioritized getting the Konan frags over the Sasuke frags, now this only affects me to the tune of 60 points in the entire event but that's still 60 pts basically wasted, and we'll not have any seen value for months.
Though on the other side of the coins, I completely understand where Daiske is coming from, they are still working out the details and trying to resolve the issue. They did not want to release the information until they had concrete info they could give us, so it wouldn't look like a scam.
So basically what this comes down to is that Gravity's friend needs to be removed from his position for leaking information OAS was not ready to release. -

Not particularly. But it would be preferable to the eventual backlash and outrage when people realized that PB Sasuke and Shikamaru would be unavailable after the fact.
Gravity's friend messed up, sure. But honestly, this would have all *n over if the dev just said: "PB Sasuke and MO Shikamaru will be unavailable after this week, until further notice. We're making some changes. More information to come." in the Events notice.
Sure, people would have still been upset, but not nearly as much as now. -

The devs don't need to give any information as to why this change is happening. That's not what their job entails. The playerbase doesn't need to know about the inner workings of a company.
The devs should, however, tell us that a change is happening in the first place, especially when it directly affects us.
If this information had been known, say, during the Events notice, there would have been grumbles and complaints (there always are), but people would have been able to plan ahead and get adjusted to the news.
Having his information brought to us like this, through a whistle*er, catches the playerbase off guard. There's the initial question of whether this is legit, or not. And after that, questioning whether the devs would've ever released this information if it wasn't for the whistle*er. Some people start attacking the devs. Others defend them. The whole thing gets complicated and antagonistic.
Like, right now.
