It's the most fishy thing i ever read on this forum. "Secret" this, "cant tell" that, all this boils in reality to "buy it now, because we won't even tell you if you can have the chance ever again". That is so classic false scarcity marketing trick it's really sad to see people are still eating this bait talk. After all, if this is internal issue, it's basically no issue, just a trick. If this is external issue, they are both still here, so instead of secret and baiting it can be resolved in number of ways before they are unavailable. Why cant you say whats the problem with them then if its not a copy right issue?

I'll admit it's a bit weird for one-off ninja like Playboy Sasuke (who only appeared in the Naruto movie Road to Ninja) and Shikamaru reading make-out paradise (which was a skit panel IIRC, so one of the many little asides in the series, basically Kakashi introduces Shikamaru to the books because he's old enough to get it or something) to be such big things, it would be like suddenly releasing alt-artist Samurai Naruto as a character and then there is sailor Sakura and swimsuit Ino, again just lifted from one-offs and not main series canon.

So if they do get removed from the game what will happen to the fragments we currently have for them?

I've mentioned it several times. Our company is trying really hard to fix this serious problem, but it's not that easy.

People should understand with any MMO game, nothing is set in stone.
Things come and go and many things are considered event limited and never show up again.
Those who played the old Runescape should know what i'm talking about.

It will not kill you to miss out on these 2 ninjas. And if you will regret not having them then recharge ingots and buy them now. From 8 pages in this thread, it sounds like f2pers are complaining they worked for part of him and won't have a chance at him anymore. I'm in the same boat as you guys but this game is very fair to f2p'ers and not having this ONE ninja won't kill your game play.

It's nice enough of this staff to give us a heads up on this topic. Thread should be closed tbh, you guys wont pull any internal info out from the company nor should they be held liable to provide such info.

Anyone want to argue against this feel free to come at me. I'll convince you otherwise this is a fair move and it's something I actually WANT to see more of in this game.

All that kind of secrecy ever does is create mistrust between the devs and the playerbase. Especially in this case where it just makes people think you are trying to exploit them in some way rather than come out and be open about it especially since we ALREADY know about this . Ive never known hiding things from people being a good thing for any community other than you have something negative to hide that will make you look bad for something you were responsible for. Generating Us and Them mentality never helped any business you should be trying to make it so its just US together and all you guys ever do is keep us at a distance and hide things from us if we didnt get this spoiled by a whistle*er would we even have found out this was happening and were just screwed . Honestly, do you think Daiske would've confirmed it if OAS planned to keep it a secret?

I imagine they were probably already about to officially release the information, but Gravity.Ray posted before the scheduled time.

If OAS hadn't planned on telling us at all they would've just deleted this post, like they've deleted so many others.

Well a very small portion of players reads the forum and seeing as how there was no official ingame announcement most players still dont know anything about this happening.

Hiding and not sharing our entire plan with the community are 2 different things.

Most of the time players want to know everything about new updates right now. Honestly, that is no possible. We have our schedule. However, it can change so there is no point giving players our plans and especially dates. It will cause only more trouble. Regarding this problem. I've said it several times, we can't share more info because we are in the middle of conversation with the different parties. We won't remove or revamp Playboy Sasuke or Shikamaru Make-Out paradise. There is problem with these two ninja and due to this problem we won't be able to release them in events anytime soon. But that doesn't mean players won't be able to receive them in the future. They will ! When ? I have no idea.
The reason why we didn't announce it officially is because we don't want to force players to buy things they don't want to buy. Imagine announcing there is chance we might not be able to release Playboy Sasuke or Shikamaru Make-out paradise ever again. Few days ago we had this information. However, situation is different now.
