I was Azure for that plot.

I had Kimimaro, Ukon, and Kabuto.

To stop Akatsuki I used my Azure Clone's acupuncture.
Luckily I killed Kisame by beginning of round 2 and then use Mystery on Hidan and he died after.
Then I focused on Kakuzu so he can't take off my buffs. Itachi should die from normal attack. Ukon has to work on that.
I saved my Regenerative Healing to heal after Sasori attacked.
By around round 3-4 Ukon and Kimimaro already stacked up their passive. You should be able to 1 shot both Sasori and Deidara. Use Ukon first then Kimimaro to maxmimise damage.

I put on Healing Tips to boost Kabuto heal and Azure herself. I've tried several methods, this one worked effectively and safe to make sure none of your ninjas died. You should finished all of them by round 6 ish. It came to the point where my Kimimaro took almost no damage (when damage taken points turned grey), also my Ukon did insane of damage his mystery did about 5-6k (no crit).
P.S. All of my ninjas were 4 stars excepted Ukon was 3
P.S. 2: If you have Tayuya use her. Her mystery stopped 2 Ninjas, use on Hidan and Kakuzu. She's also good in SA difficult.

My friend beat it with earth main.
He used Sai, Sakura and Guy, i believe.

Don't give up yet.

What you really need is..

1 CC who can stop Hidan i.e. Interrupt (Guy), Sleep (Tayuya), Immobile (Shikamaru), Chaos (Ino and heal)
1 Healer to keep up with their damage especially Deidara, his team will be the last to take out.
1 Initiate or 2 so you can start combo each round.
1 Tank to soak most dmg.
With Scarlet it should be easy.
Try Guy, Hinata and Karin or Shizune whatever you have.
In team try to keep Guy alive. Akatsuki members weak against Tai Jutsu anyway.
