The guide is kinda misleading in a sense that it doesn't touch on positioning at all. You can have all the initiative in the world but if you're both using prompts and you're in move slot 2 then you won't go before move slot 1.

Example: "The Initiative attribute is especially effective during the beginning of the second round of a battle, before any skill is launched, imagine both teams having 40 Chakra points and using Prompt Mystery skills, who do you think has the advantage in this situation? The one with more Initiative does."

The one with higher placement does and only if they're in an equal position does the initiative come into play. It's a great guide, however, if someone's just starting to learn about the system then all it's going to do is breed confusion since it's only partial information.
