i called it a bug, because i found weird that a ninja that was never shown in the manga/anime to ever use fire nature, to be a fire ninja when he prefers to use wind. Not that he couldnt use fire, but if he goes wind with more frequency maybe that means he has more affinity to wind, wich would make it his main nature over fire, i guess.
same logic as sasuke, he learned first fire, but was more comfortable with lightning as soon as he learned it, so he is categorized as a lightning ninja.
just found it weird, maybe should have placed as a suggestion?
Sasuke was confirmed in both anime and manga to have Lght Chakra affilation, the same as Naruto was confirmed to have wind.
Personally I would be more surprised by Hinata and Guy being Lighting, as they have no connections to this element whatsoever. Earth would match them much better.
Danzo was given Fire, I assume, due to his belonging to the Land of Fire. Most people from this country are Fire natured, so if chakra nature is not specified, they are either assigned their country element, or something that matches them the most. -

Actually Konoha ninjas are a mix between fire and earth, maybe more to earth (18 if we use all versions of a ninja) over fire (15 if we use all versions of a ninja and including Danzu).
In the case of Danzu its confirmed he uses wind and yin-yang releases, you never see him use fire, so it would make sense to have his nature be Wind. And that is why, in the first post, i asked if he was given fire to work with his own barrier and Fu buff, and I add now that there is no Fire Kage and there is already Gaara with wind nature.
But if that is the case i would like to see consistency when doing it to other ninjas as well, if it is for the ninjas to work as a team like they do in the anime/manga, then Torune could be either fire or lightning, so he could get the buffs and the shields because he also doesnt show any particular afinity to any c*ra nature in the anime/manga. If it is a clan thing, then why is Fu fire while the others from his clan are earth?
That was my point all along, consistency in the process when it isnt actually known the base nature of a ninjas c*ra or they use multiple ones.
But yes, Hinata and Guy are other 2 good examples of this.
Well, I personally don't see Danzo working well with Naruto though :v
Kotoamatsukami barrier also wouldn't make sense to buff wind nature.
Anime logic, he could be either fire or wind, but game logic he is definitely more fire.
Torune was not a team fighter, he prefered solo duels. He and Torune were both rather not cooperative characters, they more often split up then work together from what I remember (could be wrong, it's been ages since they last appeared in anime xD)
The most inconsistent ninja is as of this day, Pain. Each path has different chakra nature, while none used any. Nagato is Fire in CN from what I remember, but he only used one chakra nature which is either water or wind (bad memory, but I think that when Yahiko was alive they used elemental ninjutsu under Jiraiya's training).
Ninjutsu that is used by a ninja is not an indicator of what chakra nature he is. Sasuke first learned fireball as his clan was profficient in Fire Style, but his affilation was Lght, which is also his nature in game.
As I said earlier, when ninja's nature was not estimated in anime/manga, it had to be "made up" by developers, to match the ninja's characteristics the best.
Hinata is lighting, Guy is lighting, Kabuto is water, and Kekkei Genkai ninja are not dual natured, even though they should be. To this day I wonder why isn't Hashirama both Water and Earth natured, as well as Haku being Water and Wind. -
