Are earth main shields smaller in CN? I was watching some videos to kill time and it looked like earth shields only gave a small percentage of what they give in NA.

The 2nd mystery for Earth mains also gives the main character only a shield equal to their resistance.
This usually gives them a shield worth 4-5k depending on their resistance at that time (including bonuses)

That it may, but this topic is on the Earth main shields. Interrupt mysteries do not really factor in.

ITs Directly related they dont just get shields for nothing they have to sacrifice a really powerful mystery to have access to a bigger shields and water and all other mains have access to much bigger shields on ALL their team members passively as opposed to just 2 like earth main does . Those shields usually last till turn 3 at which point the fight is usually over. I can see how it can be a problem for people in survival but in survival you can just restart with a tailored team so its really an issue of people being stubborn rather than earth main being op.

That mystery only shields the main, which should be the last ninja your opponent is targeting.

If you need to rely on that mystery at any time for shielding purposes, you've already lost the fight.

(not saying there aren't reasons at all to use that mystery, just not for the shield it gives)

Its doesn't gives equal shield as his resistance. The second mystery only gives 45-50% of your resistance as shield. Its only look like you get the full resistance amount, because everyone use it with Steel Body what DOUBLES your resistance. Try to use mystery without steel body and you will see.
If in china they dont use steel body, maybe they have something better? Then they wont get so much shield either.

What are you smoking? Water main has ZERO shields.

Running Ninja like AO who also provides acupuncture gives all water team ninja shields same for fire and lightning and wind ninja all can get starting shields on ALL applicable character with relevant ninja while earth main only shields 2 and if he wants to interrupt being acupunctured he cant get the extra shield from his 2nd mystery so its pretty balanced. If anything earth mains are at a disadvantage because they cant heal or remove or be immune to debuffs like fire lightning wind water can so they have to run at least 1 healer as a result . If they want to win that is. As a result the dmg output is much lower than the other classes , so yes they are harder to kill but they cant attack themselves and have to use one ninja to heal / remove debuffs so its balanced. I agree here, Shields are strong but we have to give up other stuff for them, such as an auto attack, and are generally easily countered if you play smartly. Fire teams running Seal and Feather completely negate Earth MC's without even trying. Water gets a Clone that Acupunctures almost every round. Lightning c*e Assassin's Blade to completely ignore the Earth Main. Wind is the only one truly at a disadvantage to us.
