The mirror skill is most commonly encountered when facing Scarlet Blaze (fire) mains. It reflects the first debuff applied to your team every turn onto a random enemy.
That said, acupuncture still acts as an interrupt even when it gets reflected.


PS: The skill is not exclusive to Scarlet blaze however. Kurenai for example also has it.
