Probably one of many bugs this game has. Like 2 star Haku barrier not increasing damage, this was here since day 1, don't know if it's fixed yet. If you did your tests right best report it and hope they fix.

Yeh, they fix some stuff that gets posted there. Best chance for getting it resolved.
